NS-347 is made with rigid aluminum and provides perfect shielding for EMI
control. Front panel consists of blue and green light beam for power and work
status display. Back panel consists of power switch, power input jack, two
stabling screws and two interface ports, USB2.0 and LAN. NS-347 is fabricated
with aluminum body and stand, as well as a metal tray that has PCB attached and
is for HDD assembling. Sophistication is implemented into this design ideology.

Overview
The NS-347 is an elegant external storage device with the
support of network. It can be accessed via internet or local intranet as a mini
server. It supports various net systems like FTP, SMB, and web-based management,
the operation of which is handled through web browser interface. Users get to
enjoy the high utility from external file storage warehouse as well as a
net-based database. USB 2.0 operation supporting file transferring and sharing
via computer can speed up to 480Mbps. Meanwhile, remote operation is as safe as
extremely imagined with the protection of administrator filtration and password
control. You may perform read and write actions without the access of computer
as ong as the power of NS-347 is on and LAN is connected. Setting up an
individual server in operation is becoming more efficient with LAN function
equipped in NS-347. NS-347 supports the most common HDD with the capacity mostly
used in today’s market. This is definitely a solution to the need of digital
spacing.

NS-347 has two controllers; each is separately for LAN and
USB2.0 interface. For LAN interface, NS-347 uses RDC R2882. For USB2.0
interface, NS347 uses Genesys GL811E. Two chipsets governing LAN and USB2.0
separately utilize fluent data processing and prevents HDD collapsing during
functioning. However, do note that during operation, interface(LAN or USB2.0)
detection is only obliged to one chipset, whichever detected first at initial
power-on. When LAN is attached and at work as a FTP/SMB server, USB2.0 is no
longer detectable. When USB 2.0 is attached and at work, LAN is no longer
applicable. The solution is to switch to designated port at power-off status and
turn the power on again.
